The QSFP56 SR4 transceiver is a 200 Gbit/s pluggable module for bi-directional serial optical data communications such as 200GBASE Ethernet. The transceiver operates with four parallel data streams of 53.125 Gbps in order to provide an aggregated signaling rate of 212.5 Gbps. The module has an MPO8/MPO12 male connector and uses four fiber pairs to create the four data lanes.
The module is fully compliant with all QSFP56 related MSA standards and Digital Diagnostic functions are available through an I2C interface. It complies with IEEE 802.3 and 200Gbase-SR4.
