QSFP28, 100G Active Optical Cable (AOC)

The QSFP28 AOC assembly is a cost and energy efficient solution for 100G Ethernet, Infiniband QDR and Fibre Channel applications. The assembly consists of multi-channel optical transceivers on both ends and four pairs of multimode fiber in between. The cable is fixed and sealed to the transceivers eliminating any need for cleaning, and the optical transmission provides much longer range and better BER performance than with conventional copper Direct Attach Cables.
